Panasonic
Panasonic tham gia vào thị trường máy ảnh kỹ thuật số một cách nghiêm túc với việc ra mắt thương hiệu Lumix vào năm 2001. Được cho là người đã phổ biến khải niệm "super zoom" với dòng FZ, Panasonic cũng đã tiên phong trong việc phóng to các máy ảnh compact và phát minh ra một phân khúc hoàn toàn mới "travel zoom" với dòng TZ máy nhỏ - zoom lớn.
Sau khi thử nghiệm một số máy ảnh DSLR Four Thirds, vào năm 2008 Panasonic đã cho ra mắt hệ thống "G" mirrorless Micro Four Thirds, tối ưu hóa vào video cũng như ảnh tĩnh.
Vào cuối năm 2018, Panasonic giới thiệu một dòng sản phẩm mirrorless full frame mới dựa trên tiêu chuẩn L-mount.
